2026 Advanced Placement® (AP) Exam Registration Information 

What should you be aware of it?

  • Registration deadline is October 31, 2025

  • Payment deadline is October 31, 2025

  • Paying for the AP exam constitutes parent permission to test

  • Exam fee is $99 per exam*

  • Late registration fee is $40 per exam (Nonrefundable)

  • Cancelled exam fee is $40 per exam

  • If a student intends to take an AP Exam and is not enrolled in that AP class at WHS this school year, there is a spot to indicate this on the Google Form. 

  • Students enrolled in Semester 2 AP  Microeconomics will register at a later time

 

What do you need to do next?

  • Complete the google form sent to you in an email from your AP Teacher or posted on Canvas by October 31, 2025 (you can only complete the form once, but you can edit the form once submitted) 

  • Bring payment to the WHS Counseling Office by October 31, 2025. 

    • Make checks payable to Fort Zumwalt School District (include student name and test title(s) in Memo) 

    • If paying cash must, it be exact

*Note: Students who previously qualify for free/reduced lunch program at school, qualify for free exams.

AP courses (see offerings below) are taught by highly qualified high school teachers who use the AP Course Descriptions to guide them. The Course Description for each discipline outlines the course content, describes the curricular goals of the subject, and provides sample examination questions. In May, AP Examinations are administered and represent the culmination of college-level work in a given discipline in a secondary school setting. Rigorously developed by committees of college and AP high school faculty, the AP Exams test students' ability to perform at a college level. Each exam contains a free-response section (either essay or problem solving) and a section of multiple-choice questions. Testing fees are payable before the exam. Students who perform well can receive course credit and/or advanced standing at thousands of universities worldwide.
